New Dolls!

Welp, Amazon is testing me . . . and they have won. Oh no, it's not enough to give them money for things I actually "need" - they also had to let me know that several Monster High G3 dolls are currently on sale for less than $18 each. Draculaura & Cleo (sig versions of both) are on their way, and they might arrive as soon as tomorrow. Huzzah, this is v excite, Frankie & I are thrilled for them to get some friends, finally, after all these months, for such a reduced price. This might mean I have to wait until next payday to order a bunch of Mixlings, and definitely means that I wish I could find a bag of cash on the ground, because if I had more money I might also order a few more things right the fuck now . . .

As much as I honestly do love those shoes, I just somehow feel like I will like the whole outfit better with a different pair, so I basically owe it to this girl to buy all of her counterparts and give her some options, right?*)

And those are just my most wanted from Monster High! Let's not forget a small independent upcoming film called Barbie The Movie, which has already brought forth such toys as . . .

These are all a bit pricey (the five items I listed would currently cost around $230), so I can definitely wait, but my finger is already itching to order another Monster High something . . .

Obviously, I definitely will not order another doll until the first two have at least shipped, or better yet, actually arrived. Clearly the goal would be to order something quite cheap. Technically, Goreganizer Laura (I can't decide if I prefer it spelled with or without the hyphen) IS cheaper than usual, but at $36.50 she's still the cost of two dolls in the price range I had in mind when I said "quite cheap." But she's worth it! More storage is always great, of course, but Mattel really did a marvelous job of designing something that my inner child would and does want to throw money at. I don't have a whole lot of doll accessories that need to be stored right now (most of the few dolls I've acquired in more than two years of living here are still in their boxes), but this is a dang cute place to keep them. As for the doll, well, I'd pay full price if I could, just for those boots. Big stompy BLACK boots, hex yes! I also love her face, ears, bangs, and entire outfit. Her hair will have to be taken down and played with and slash or just cut, and I would love that dress even more if it had a belt, but overall stunning doll that I would buy even without the perfectly perfect storage bonus. So that is my most wanted MH doll now, but I almost want the playsets more than the actual dolls? It's kind of a dumb question since one playset comes with a doll.

Don't even try to talk to my money about Little Mermaid merch right now. Or the ILY Disney dolls and their fantastic accessory packs and fashion packs (whoever decided to sell so much stuff this way is an evil genius). Or Shadow High. Or Cave Club. Or anything else that I don't "actually" need. No matter how much I want it all, damn damn double damn!





*Well, okay, she would look silly in Creepover's comfy house shoes. But still, that doll would look great in this one's outfit, and I love her Crescent, and all of her accessories . . .

The Weekend is NOW

I've already had some NyQuil, approximately two and a half hours earlier than I normally take it, because I really need to get some fucking sleep to properly enjoy this weekend. Even though today was Friday, the not enough sleep combined with the too much caffeine kicked my ass for the last few hours of my shift. Anyway, whenever I wake up tomorrow I am going to purchase my first movie ticket, shower, get dressed, and then start my short journey to the theater! In addition to two movies and exciting food plans, I need to do laundry this weekend. On Sunday. Movies & food will be Saturday, which according to my clock just started one minute ago. Those are my only plans. Just gonna take it as easy as possible, read a bunch of comics so I can return them to the library so I can check out more comics, attempt to "catch up" on sleep. collect pakidges, and pretty much nothing else. No, wait, I also gotta buy groceries, of course. Always needing more food and cleaning products.

Anyway.

Another intriguing deal that Amazon showed me was the Encanto Doorables set for $11.50, which is nine characters for slightly more than $1 each, so I thought about it for like thirty seconds and then purchased. And it's already here! These things, um, might be dangerous? Tiny toys are possibly the most fun thing to collect, and they are so goshdamn cute! Obviously I really want the villains collection and was kind of sad that I didn't buy that WITH the Encanto set (didn't shop around and see that they were in a bundle!), but it works out because now I . . . um . . . obviously I am not going to spend this much on something so small, but, uh, one option is to get them bundled with an Olaf Presents set, and before seeing this bundle I had no idea that the Olaf Presents set existed, and like, seriously, shut the fuck up and take my forty dollars, please. Forty is a lot to spend on something I'm not even going to open until I have more furniture such as more display spaces anyway, but it is a good deal when you realize that it's twenty-four figures for less than $2 each.

Okay. So. I may or may not make that particular purchase before next payday, but if not, I will definitely buy them then, along with the Little Mermaid sisters seven-pack and . . . hmmm . . . something else? That would be money I should spend on furniture, but dang, I still want more Monster High SOONER THAN LATER. So yes, we shall just wait and see how I handle my budget and when I treat myself to my next toy purchase.
