My end-of-week gift to myself was a 24-pack of Doorables, reduced from $40 to less than $22 AFTER all taxes & fees.

I just spent almost $40 on some essentials (hemp cream, anti-chafe balm, vitamins). Having a body is annoying and expensive.

Tomorrow or Sunday I will spend close to $200 on enough groceries to do zero shopping until next weekend.

My most wanted Prime Days Maybe Deals are pretty much what you would expect. The Perfect Desk, comfortable chair for The Perfect Desk, area rug for the chair, folding kitchen shelves, kitchen cart, desktop computer, fancy blender, storage bench. Of course I will also check out the display shelves I have my gay heart set on, but they're pretty affordable already.

When I bought my weekly present, I was and still am tempted by other deals on Doorables, such as . . .

Snow White and all seven dwarfs for less than $9, reduced from $17
Bundle: Olaf Presents & Stitch sets - usually almost $40, currently less than $30
Multi Peek Series 5 - $8.50 for 5 OR 6 OR 7 figures (I am specifically interested in S5 because some of the possibilities are all three fairies and both stepsisters)
$6.50 (usually $11) for Movie Moments, which of course I really like. Two figures AND a scene/tiny playset in a stackable display cube? Come on. These could be a dangerous way to spend a lot of money in a short amount of time!
Birthday Countdown Calendar - 14 figures (including two from TURNING RED, Young Tiana, and is that fucking Vidia?!) for $13
I don't ~super~ want the 50th Anniversary Collector Set, but $16 is certainly better than $19 for twelve figures

I haven't bought any Across the Spider-Verse action figures yet, and unfortunately my most wanted (Hobie Brown, aka Spider-Punk) keeps going out of stock. I would have said keeps "going in and out," but he's mostly out. Next time he's in stock, if he's $30 or less, I should just order him right away.

If nothing my room Needs is on sale, I might look around for toys that aren't Doorables.

I just pre-ordered MONICA RAMBEAU on Amazon. They don't seem to have RITA REPULSA, so I'll have to pre-order her from Hasbro Pulse ASAP. She is actually the reason I should get the Doorables Birthday Countdown Calendar. If she really does ship on the first, she'll probably arrive on or before my actual birthday on the fourth. And toys are the only reason I'm even somewhat excited about this birthday. Heh.

Oh shit, the prospect of saving them to open on my birthday could so easily justify purchasing so many Doorables while they're on sale, oh shiiiiiiiiiit

Whether or not they are on sale, these are some of the toys I might spend money on as my weekly reward for surviving a whole week of stupid sometime sooner than later:
DCSG Teen to Super Life Supergirl (Current Price: $37)
Pink Ninja Ranger - Kimberly ($17)
FiguArts Captain Marvel ($50)
The Marvels: Kamala and Carol ($25 each, same as Monica)
5 Surprise Mini Fashion 2-pack ($10)
This Storm ($45) (I already have a variant who looks exactly like this one except that her outfit is black)
~I really want the Kat & Kat with Cat two-pack, but because I didn't buy it back when it was affordable, it is currently obscenely expensive on Amazon and I don't need it badly enough to shop around at this time~
Appa Pillow Pet ($24 - ooooh, that is a sale, he's usually $35)
Ariel and Sisters Small Doll Set ($34)
The Loyal Subjects: Sokka with his bag ($15), Aang with Momo ($9), others?
Q Posket Terra ($18)
MLP Meet the Mane 6 ($27)
Mirrorverse Maleficent ($20), Hook ($20), and Belle ($13)
Aisha Vs Scorpina ($24)
PRESIDENT BARBIE ($50)
Storm E. Sky and Cool Cat ($15)

And, someday, maybe I'll spend money on Monster High again. I still want like 80% of all of G3, but obviously I'm distracted by other toys at the moment. Basically itching to order more Doorables as I type.

Well, I checked YouLoveIt, and MGAE is trying to come for my money in multiple ways!

Na Na Na Surprise Fuzzy Surprise - I think I've been aware of this line since it started, and in all that time I have never really truly been tempted to sacrifice any of my money to it . . . until now! The description says, "Peel away the flocking material to reveal the surprise fashions underneath," which gives me a minuscule amount of pause, because I think the animal pajamas are cuter than the "actual" fashions, but still, these are somehow cute enough that I might have to get all six? I'm honestly almost annoyed by how much I suddenly want a bunch of toys I didn't know existed as recently as a few hours ago. Not that this is a new sensation. Heh. I love the fact that all six of them have glasses, even if the purple cat's are stupid. I'm not even sure if I could rank them, because I honestly want ALL SIX. Dammit.

Rainbow High New Friends
- There are three of these and I am planning to spend money on two. Lilac Lane has accessories which indicate that Chemistry is one of her favorite subjects, and I love every single thing about her except for her shoes, which will need to be replaced because heels are not appropriate lab attire. Blu Brooks would be a potential purchase for her shoes alone. Her accessories include a skateboard and a cast, because apparently she broke her wrist. I love everything about her, including the dark red lips against all that bright blue. Plus the bits of black. The only one I don't need is Pinky Paige. I like her glasses and her plushie. End of list. Her makeup and purse are cute too, but I hate her dress and, well, she comes with a selfie stick. If I got the doll (who IS cute), she might as well be nude on eBay, because I would have to find her a whole new outfit.

Na Na Na Surprise Minis Series 2 - These are cute enough that I checked out Series 1, who are so cute that I am tempted to spend money right the fuck NOW. Just not sure if it should be $10 each for x random ones, or $20 for Lizzy York, who comes with an actual mini backpack that is also a "bedroom" (actually just part of the wall) display set.that holds four of them if need to use it for storage or transport.

Shadow High - I've had my eye on Rosie Redwood for a while, but SCARLET ROSE IS PERFECTION. Literally, I might pre-order her on Amazon. That is how perfect she is. Oh my holy what now.

In My Cart

For less than seventy dollars, I could purchase four of my most wanted Doorables sets
  • Olaf Presents
  • Stitch
  • Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs
  • Birthday Countdown

Plus, Na Na Na Surprise Minis Lizzy York.

Even if I don't add three random friends for Lizzy, which would still make my pre-tax total about one dollar less than one hundred, that is quite a lot of major-want toys for relatively little money.

Something that's not actually in my cart at this exact second is The Perfect Desk, which I will either order during Prime Days or after. Current price is $180, but there's a $10 coupon. Words fail to convey my excitement about this desk, but: I know exactly where I am going to put all fifteen Circle of Three books, and that makes me happy. And of course I'll also use some of that space for multiple tiny toy spice shelves, so that whenever I type anything I can look at Doorables and Mixlings and Cloudees and LPS and MLP, oh em gee, it'll be beYOND~

It only just occurred to me in the last two or three nights that the desk won't be truly perfect without a desk lamp, and this one looks perfect excellent because it's adjustable and has two charging ports. Actually, it would really be perfect if it was white, as  that would match the desk and the display shelves on that wall, so maybe I'll keep looking . . .

A Few Hours Later: Oh snap! I could get four sets of Doorables, Lizzy York, a set of Gelly Roll pens, and a legit Trapper Keeper for slightly less than $100 before tax. I'll make myself think about it for at least two hours or so, but it's very very very appealing and I am tempted to complete the purchase right now. But no, must ponder.
