Queer Eye x Friendship is Magic

ryanreactsBecause why not. Heh. I'm very open about my tendency to compare pretty much all fictional characters to MLP at some point, but I fiiiiiinally started watching Queer Eye, and it is seriously the happiest show I have seen since I started watching Friendship is Magic in May of 2011.
Anyway. Both seasons are only eight episodes long, so it should not come as a shock that I am typing this up after finishing season one.
Tan is Rarity. Full stop. As soon as I got the idea to "officially" mash them up, this one was there in my head. It's such a no-brainer. They do literally the same job (except, um, Rarity would never dream of dressing a client in clothes she hadn't made herself, unless there were some sort of circumstances and she had to be talked into doing it) (and yes, I know Tan DOES design his own clothes, but so far that hasn't come up on the actual show).
Jonathan is Pinkie Pie. All five of them are really happy, but he's the most FUN. And the most positive. And usually the most energetic. He's like a ten-thousand-watt lightbulb that's always turned on. I want to be as confident as him when I grow up.
But he's also just a little bit Rarity, isn't he? They're both the "most" "femme" of their friend groups, they both have the best hair of their friend groups, they both respect the power of a good spa day.
(Pinkie and Rarity are my two faves, so interpret that as you will.)
Karamo is Applejack. Reassuring people when they're in doubt is exactly what he does, and he's damn good at it. Applejack is quite a Team Mom sort of personality, and Karamo has a similar vibe. He's very nurturing, very patient, very we-all-know-you-can-do-it-sugar-cube-but-hey-we'll-be-here-to-catch-you-if-you-do-fall-so-don't-worry-go-get-em!
But wait, he's also a little bit Twilight Sparkle. Because he often has to do Research, and that is her thing.
Bobby is Rainbow Dash. She'd have heartfelt thumbs-ups for everything the other four do, but coming into someone's home and pointing out everything that's wrong with it and then making it twenty percent cooler in ten seconds flat would make her eyes light up, I tell ya. Also, they are both the "most" "butch" of their friend groups.
Antoni is Fluttershy. Her Element is Kindness, and what is kinder than feeding someone you just met? Not much. Furtherly, he is the most sensitive, the most emotional.
P.S. Let's be honest, they are all a little bit Rarity. They're the Fab Five. Fab as in short for Fabulous. Fabulous as in one of Rarity's catchphrases. She would approve of (almost) all of their outfits, and in general would be the most excited to hang out with them.
