Sailor Jupiter
Dec. 9th, 2020 04:05 pmI've decided that one of my first purchases of the new year, and perhaps my first toy purchase at all, should be a FiguArts Sailor Jupiter. I want to finally collect the whole team someday. I used to have the original most basic versions of Moon, Mars, and Mercury, but sadly got rid of them last year when I was suicidal. Never had Jupiter or Venus, even though Jupiter is my favorite. So it's beyond past time to get her, and she'll be an extra-extra special treat from myself to myself because I love myself. Heh.
Unfortunately, Amazon currently has three options and I honestly like all three enough that I'm only like 90% sure of my current "if I have to pick just one" choice.
OPTION 1: ULTRA MOST BASIC
In other words, the original version of this particular character. At this moment in time she is $114, which I am willing and able to pay for a core gem of my collection, but the other two are a better deal and a much better deal.
OPTION 2: SUPER SAILOR JUPITER
Okay, she's the only one pictured with any power effects, and they look fantastic.
Current Price: $80
OPTION 3: ANIMATION COLOR
Literally the same figure as Option 1, but with brighter colors! And $2 less than half the price!
So yeah, much to ponder.
P.S. Do I love this character enough to contemplate getting all three? Yes. Definitely not all at once right away in the same paycheck, but I just might get all three . . .
