Today (technically yesterday, as it is currently 1:39 in the morning) was the day a bunch of lucky bitches who were able to attend SDCC had the chance to see the all-new all-different CHARMED pilot. I was not one of those lucky bitches, but thanks to the Internet mine eyes have seen a spoiler. Not a huge spoiler, but--- Well, I mean, it sort of is a huge spoiler, but it's also something everyone guessed as soon as we learned their names. Literally, two of them had names that were fairly whatever, but one of them made us grab each other and go, "Her name is WHAT? Could that be short for SOMETHING SIGNIFICANT?"
It might be, or it might not. What I do know is that Not Leo apparently mentions "Something" to our new heroes. Which really would have been a total "duh" move, even without the name clue, but it's still pretty fun.
Also, I'm not clear if this is something they're definitely going to do or just something they've talked about, but it seems the writers are fond of the idea of a demon who attacks people through their FitBits and makes them walk until they die. And other tech-based demons in general. I am so hype that this show might be genuinely good, not just "get the popcorn and prepare to snark" good.
We heard part of it in the trailer, but someone on BookFace was kind enough to spell out the first spell that the sisters cast together: “Timor tuus fortitude tua feminae ultimum exitium.”
The Internet needs to either post a high-quality video of the pilot or stop posting spoilers.
