Allegedly the first two episodes of season three will be available to stream at 12:00 AM on Friday, which is a little less than twenty-five hours away.

I really do hope this is true, because I AM ABOUT TO CRAWL OUT OF MY SKIN.

I haven't been this excited about teevee since the season two premiere, which was a little less than two years ago. I mean, of course I was very excited about Castlevania Nocturne and the Doctor Who 60th Anniversary Specials and X-Men 97, but all of those were new installments of stories I have already loved for years or decades. Yellowjackets is very much its own thing. As soon as I saw the very first scene of the very first episode, I was immediately hooked, and I am still fucking obsessed with it.

Tonight was a slow day at work, and I'm guessing tomorrow will be even slower. Even if we are busy, the whole time I will just be thinking, "Oh my holy what now, when I go home I get to watch NEW YELLOWJACKETS!"

The other day Showtime released a three-and-a-half-minute clip from the premiere, which immediately made me even more impatient for the whole episode. I have watched the clip at least three times and, like I said before, my anticipation is so great that I am about to crawl out of my skin.

And now I need to go watch a video of Melanie & Christina recapping the first two seasons!
