Another room upgrade I might want to make happen is a bead curtain between the gettin' ready area (bathroom sink on one side, closet on the other) and the teeny tiny hallway.

Sometime very soon I will start ordering mermaid bathroom stuff. I am very excited about this, but still feel like I need to wait a minute before I order anything else. (Well, anything else other than the four small shower shelves I did order earlier.) And then, when all of my current incomings have been delivered, for the next couple of weeks, I would like to focus my spendings in the direction of making my bathroom more perfecter.

Other than the two pakidges (containing eight items) currently being held for pickup, my Amazon incomings are down to seven. Two of which are fun shirts that should arrive tomorrow.

And then eBay honestly isn't even that bad either: one lot of nine individual comic books, FABLES volume twenty, Grant Morrison's JLA, and several small pakidges of Happy Meal toys that I loved when I was a kid.

And then Walmart is only delivering a few essentials sometime next week. For a while now I have been ordering a little bit of toilet paper very frequently, but at this point I have accumulated enough that I can afford to not buy any for a while. Especially since I now have so much of it stored on the new shelf. Which feels really nice.

So yeah, I am going to try to avoid stressing about estimated arrival dates, but most of my current incomings ought to be delivered in the next week or maybe two. And then, let's see, I suppose I'll give myself a few weeks to complete my mermaid bathroom. Let's say, hmm, it shall be done on or before July the first!
Damn, that feels good.

Right now the only thing in my bathroom that's mostly decorative (well, it does have a function, but) is the fried egg bath mat. I don't know if I will keep that, although obviously it will not match the mermaid slash undersea friends bathroom theme I am going for.

Oh, one thing I do have to gush about: One of the bigger comic book purchases I made before cutting myself off was a lot of slightly more than one hundred individual issues of Spider-Girl.
I've had this pakidge in my room for a few days, but just opened it today, and was thrilled to discover that this absolute gem of a seller packed them in a sturdy cardboard long box! They used bubble wrap and cardboard to pad the empty space, too. I removed the bubble wrap so I can also use this box to store all seventeen issues of Spider-Woman (no relation), and now the box is pretty much full.
I am still cut off from buying any more individual issues of comics until I buy long boxes to keep them in. That hasn't changed. However. For some reason I was thinking I would keep multiple long boxes on the snap shelf. This is stupid because the snap shelf isn't sturdy enough, and because cardboard long boxes (like the one this seller sent me, for which I shall be eternally grateful!) are sturdy enough to store on the floor.

Eventually I should get at least one real bookshelf to keep next to the snap shelf.
And maybe another real bookshelf to keep in the wardrobe, instead of the crates I have stacked on top of each other pretending to be a small bookshelf at the moment (not that they aren't doing a wonderful job, of course).

When I found my free mini fridge, I carried it home and did the easy thing, which was to just plop it down on the random table.
That is fine for now, but eventually I would prefer to get something like this for the fridge. The shelves are adjustable, so I could eventually get a microwave to keep up on top, with the fridge in the middle, and other less used appliances on the bottom. I'm not sure about what to keep on the bottom shelf, but everything else makes total sense in my head.
Another reason this setup makes total sense in my head is it would create some space to have a second box fan which is always pointed at my bed. (Right now I  have one that I rotate depending on where I am sitting or lying down.)

The random table would need to be moved, of course, but I can think of at least two other places it could be useful.

I really do feel pretty good lately (or as good as I can, but still). Slowly but surely, I am turning my room into a real home. That feels awesome, and I am very very grateful for it.
