"Other," as in, not related to Mermaid Bathroom.

Although I will kind of start there!
Right now I have two fried egg bath mats that I love. When their mermaidy replacements arrive, I'm planning to re-purpose them both as a place to store shoes I'm not wearing.
For now I'll continue to keep them under slash in front of the dresser, but eventually I might move them into the closet or under the sink.

Speaking of my closet space, at some point sooner than later, I will really need something like this.
Note how this particular one has obvious storage space for multiple pairs of shoes.
The one I linked is just an example (I have not measured the space yet to know what to look for when I do make a purchase), but it really would be awesome because I have been buying so many fun shirts lately, and quite likely will continue to buy two or three fun shirts per pay period for a while, and I do kind of worry about my closet's pre-installed tension rod, you know? I already worry about it as things are, but am I going to let that stop me from buying even more fun shirts? Absolutely not.

Right now I just put down napkins or paper towels when I enjoy beverages on the writing desk, but obviously I am really a coaster person, and one or two of these would be just the thing.

They continue to be low priority for obvious reasons, but the more I think about it the more I want multiple rugs! How many, exactly?
* Runner rug
* Some sort of moss rug to go next to slash under my bed
* Pentagram rug for the writing desk
* Maybe even more, but whenever I get into buying rugs those three will be a good start

Something like this really would be an even better place for the fridge than the random table (which, after getting this,
i might or might not keep --- but would definitely have to move), which would also be the perfect place to keep the microwave I will buy eventually. And then the third shelf could hold other random kitchen stuff. (And a few inches of random storage between the bottom shelf and the floor, obviously.)

Honestly, this whole fridge-microwave-rack situation makes so much sense that I might want to reconsider my kitchen desk.
I was always planning to get at least one storage rack for kitchen stuff, and that will still happen someday.
But perhaps I don't really need to use the second desk as a kitchen space. Maybe I can combine it with the writing desk.

At first I was thinking I should add the kitchen desk to the writing desk, but maybe the other way around? The writing desk doesn't NEED to be where it is, and it actually would make more sense for the current random kitchen space to become a cozy little writing corner with two desks pushed together for more display slash storage space.

Another thing I should do eventually is turn my second bed into a couch.
I used to use it for that purpose all the time (not so much lately, since I have turned my two free chairs into their own relaxation corner), but really should do so again more often.
The bed itself definitely needs fun sheets --- or rather, just the fitted sheet.
But then also, how about a fun tapestry for the wall?
And then I would get a bunch more pillows to make it as comfortable as possible, even if it isn't actually a literal couch.

Hmm.
If I do move the writing desk over to where the kitchen desk is, turning the bed into a couch would be extra perfect, because where the writing desk is now could then become space for a big teevee? I know I really don't need a screen bigger than this laptop, but SMRT teevees are really quite affordable these days. I could totally get something pretty similar to what I used to have in El Cajon.

I recently got these two shelves, which are obviously so fucking useful that I will probably get this exact two-pack at least two more times.

Obviously, I'm going to need at least one narrow bookcase eventually. Prossibly more than one.

And, you know, I really should have ordered blackout curtains a long time ago.

Much less importantly, I would love some sort of bead curtain(s?) between the gettin' ready space and the mini hallway.

I won't provide a link, but I definitely want one of those O-Cedar Easy Wring mop buckets. And some lemon cleaning packets.

The two basic nightstands that came with my room are both fine, but I would kind of love to replace the one that I actually use as a nightstand with something like this.

Mermaid Bathroom is still very much my priority, but all of this is so fun to think about. I am slowly but surely turning my basically-free hotel room into a home that I really love. Every day I give thanks for that.
