My schedule has recently shifted so that the mini weekend between the end of My Tuesday and the start of My Wednesday is three hours longer, so I am very focused on everything I should do to have the maximum amount of fun.
First of all, even if my phone says that I have a pakidge being held for pickup, I DO NOT need to clock out and immediately walk to the post office. Anything I might have can wait until tomorrow before work!
So instead what I'll do is clock out and walk home and eat a brownie and pack my bag and then catch the 3:45 shuttle. Well, maybe I should wait until 4:45 to ensure that dinner will actually be available when I want to eat (sometimes showing up a few minutes after 4:00 is too soon). But either way, I'm gonna eat dinner and then buy some wine and snacks, then come home and shower and watch Heated Rivalry and take notes.
Today when I was at work the electricity did disappear for a while, and even though the grown-ups assured everybody that it would probably come back very soon (which it did), I kept thinking: Thank goodness I have all six episodes of Heated Rivalry downloaded!
One more update about the show is that I texted my server friend to ask if she has seen it. She said that one of the cooks was raving about it, and because of that she tried to watch it as well but could not get past the first few minutes because it's too freaky too fast. I said, that's fair, but I'm totally gonna exchange numbers with that cook because I need to gush about it with more people!
