Woo Hoo, Pakidge Time!

Today is My Saturday, and I have to say it has been pretty damn great so far!

Last night I ate a brownie, then read some of Darkest Hour (book four of The Mediator, which has significant developments in the world-building lore and in the Suze & Jesse love story) before falling asleep.

After lunch I finished the book and then picked up several pakidges, which I shall open right now:

* aaaaaahhhhh, very first thing I open happens to be the Beanie Baby + Buddy set of Patti the Platypus; I CAN'T handle how cute they are!

* a third four-pack of cooling towels (HUZZAH) and thirty-two batteries

* dryer sheets (look, every pakidge is exciting when you live in the middle of the desert and cars make you nervous, okay)

* Sparkling Lemon & Tangerine hand soap (I have three other scents to choose from on my counter, but this one is by far my favorite)

* and finally, some Happy Meal toys! This one is a random lot of transforming foods from various eras, including a few from what I think is the most recent release, so they are definitely the newest of these that I own (obviously I do prefer the older ones from my childhood, but it is also nice to have some of the newest ones!)
 

Beanie Babies I Want

Hahaha, what?

NO.

For obvious fucking reasons I do not need to be making a list of Beanie Babies I want to buy with my own hard-earned money.

But I do feel compelled to make a few notes.

This started, of course, with my ongoing Happy Meal toy obsession. As of this writing I am still waiting on a few sets to be delivered, but I'm pretty sure I have at least ordered every single one of these that I want!
So that's nice.

Until today I never actually had a Beanie Buddy, but I always wanted one. 
eBay makes it very easy to buy a Beanie Buddy and its corresponding Beanie Baby in one convenient set. So far I have ordered these sets for Patti the Platypus, who arrived today, and Pinky the Flamingo, who is on the way. 
I will definitely be ordering a Beanie + Buddy set of my fave Bongo the Monkey and his BFF Congo the Gorilla. 
For now I won't list any more as definite wants, but since I never had any Beanie Buddies as a kid it is very easy to convince me to want to buy them now.

As for actual normal-sized Beanie Babies (without Buddies), I have also ordered
* one lot of two cats and six dogs
* Hippity, Hoppity, and Floppity . . . who I remembered from childhood, and searching for them led me to
* Dippy --- so yeah, that's four bunnies on their way to me, ha ha
* and a case of collector cards that I am really fucking excited about! Definitely had a lot of these as a kid, definitely forgot about them until eBay reminded me, definitely cannot wait to have an edible and then open all twenty-four packs, oh my gushhhhh

Obviously the collector cards are going to make me want more.

When the last of my Teenie Beanie Babies arrive and I open them all, surely some of them will make me want to buy corresponding Beanie Babies and slash or Buddies.

And then, thanks to the little bit of searching I've already done, there's now at least one bear I need. But I'm not even going to name them, or list any more that I might want, until more of my incomings start arriving.
